AIDA Mobile 7.0: faster, smoother and ready for the future of document automation
We don’t talk about the AIDA mobile app very often but it can be extremely useful whenever documents need to be captured, processed or accessed when you’re away from your computer or your scanner.
With AIDA Mobile 7.0, we have renewed the app with a new technology foundation designed to deliver greater stability, faster performance and compatibility with the latest versions of iOS, both for iPhone and iPad.
Your AIDA document workflows, wherever you are
With AIDA's powerful, intelligent extraction engine and easy-to-use interface, AIDA Mobile gives you access to essential document management capabilities directly from your iPhone or iPad but with the quality and capability of a flatbed scanner. You can:
- import documents from files or photos;
- or just take a photo of your document directly within the AIDA app;
- select the most suitable AIDA workflow;
- track processing progress;
- review and complete documents that require attention;
- browse, search, open and share archived documents.
This means you can continue working with AIDA even when you are out of the office.
Consider, for example, a warehouse operator receiving a delivery. Using AIDA Mobile, they can scan the delivery note immediately, upload it to the appropriate AIDA workflow and allow the relevant information to be extracted and processed. That data can then be used to update inventory or trigger the next steps in the company’s document and business processes.
The same principle applies to employees working at customer sites, travelling between offices or handling documents wherever access to a scanner or computer is not practical. Instead of keeping paperwork to process later, they can capture it at the point of activity and send it directly into AIDA which in turn can then update the necessary systems.
