Agentic AI in action

Agentic AI in action

From document automation to autonomous action

AIDA 20.0 marks a major step forward in Artificial Intelligence Automation. With the new AIDA GPT and its Actio AI agents, AIDA moves beyond extracting data from documents to coordinating actions, supporting decisions and automating complete business processes.

Actio agents are designed to reason, plan, remember context and complete defined tasks on behalf of users. Combined with AIDA’s Intelligent Document Processing, Knowledge Graphs, payments, archive and Business Intelligence Insights, they turn documents into the starting point for real operational action.

Case study 1: debt analysis

Debt analysis is document-heavy, highly variable and difficult to standardise. In this case study, the challenge involved thousands of cases, hundreds of thousands of documents and millions of pages. The organisation needed to categorise more than a hundred document types, group them into standardised case files, extract critical information such as dates and asset values and produce an overall assessment of non-performing loans (NPL).

The problem was not only extraction. Each case required interpretation, consolidation and validation. Manual work made the process slow, inconsistent and difficult to scale.

With AIDA 20.0, the solution combined two layers:

Layer

Role in the workflow

Adaptive IDP

Categorises documents and extracts dates, asset values and key case data

AIDA GPT with Actio agents

Coordinates specialised agents, assesses case files and validates outputs

The Actio architecture coordinates multiple agents with different roles and specialisations, supported by a final validator to ensure the results meet the required standards.

The final output was practical and stakeholder-ready:

  • Charts and tables inside AIDA highlighting key data and documentation.
  • Excel files for stakeholders.
  • A final report with context and recommendations.

This shows agentic AI in action: not just reading documents, but creating structured financial intelligence from large, complex document sets.

Case study 2: cash flow management

The second case study focused on cash flow management, where documents, payments and communication need to work together. The organisation needed a single point for receiving payments, support for more than 100 payment methods worldwide, automated reconciliation of payments with fiscal documents and consolidated cash flow statistics by month, quarter and year.

The challenge was end-to-end. It included sending fiscal documents, supporting customers, changing payment methods when needed, reconciling partial or full payments and forecasting future cash flow.

AIDA 20.0 created a real-time financial due diligence environment without requiring major ERP integration investment. AIDA GPT coordinates Actio agents to send and respond to customer emails, create payments through multiple methods, match payments to documents and track incoming payments.

In practice, the solution:

  • Checks uploaded documentation for completeness.
  • Sends contracts for signature with a QR code for the first payment.
  • Checks signed contracts and related payments.
  • Looks out for discrepancies.
  • Verifies monthly invoice uploads.
  • Sends invoices or reminders with updated QR codes.
  • Prepares supporting documents for legal or debt collection if needed.

The final output includes charts and tables in AIDA, Excel reports for stakeholders and monthly, quarterly or yearly reports comparing forecast cash flow with actual results.

What these case studies prove

These examples show that agentic AI is most valuable when it is applied to real business workflows, not isolated tasks. AIDA 20.0 uses existing systems and processes as the foundation, then adds adaptive IDP, AIDA GPT and Actio agents to automate complex work across documents, data, payments and reporting.

For debt analysis, this means faster and more consistent portfolio assessment. For cash flow management, it means fewer manual steps, better reconciliation, improved cash flow and stronger forecasting. In both cases, it means faster, simpler and cheaper implementation.

AIDA 20.0 turns documents into action. With AIDA GPT and Actio AI agents, businesses can automate the processes that usually sit between documents and decisions: checking, matching, chasing, validating, reporting and forecasting.

For organisations ready to go beyond traditional Document Management Systems and IDP with basic OCR, AIDA offers a practical route to agentic AI grounded in real documents, connected to real workflows and focused on measurable business outcomes.
